Nintendo DS Park Interaction?

I remember reading a thread awhile back about MK testing the nintendo DS as a park guide. Did they ever do it and is it still going on? Anyone have any info on this? We are leaving in 21 days and my son asked me about it.

A test ran earlier this year for only a few weeks.

Although it is not currently being offered, it has internally announced that a new feature like what was tested will be available in the near future.

I emailed Disney a couple weeks back about this. The reply that I got was that it was just a test program. If I wanted to I could check with guest services everyday and ask them if they were running the program yet.

I know it doesn't say much but I though that I would pass along what I was told.
