Tomorrow's the big day - brain surgery #6.

I'm strangely calm this time, which worries me a little. Every other time, I've been freaked out like crazy beforehand, but this time I'm not. I guess I've been through it enough that it's old hat, which is a scary thought!

I'll likely be in the hospital for close to a week, then may not be back on here for a few days after I get home.

Keep my family and I in your thoughts, please!

I'm back!

I was paroled, I mean released, from the hospital yesterday.

Things went well, thanks to prayers, pixie dust, and my amazing doctors.

As it turns out, whatever they saw on the MRI didn't look like cancer when they got to it. They removed it anyway, and sent it for labs, but the guess is that it's radiation necrosis (not sure how to spell that). I won't find out exactly what it was until I go back for my post-op check-up, which I have to call to set up on Monday.
