What do you all like to use your Dining Plan snack options on the most?

I love to use them at Epcot during the Food & Wine Festival at the various country kiosks.

Last Sept our best use of a snack credit was purchasing a big huge bottle of water (1 Liter size) at our resort gift shop and a big box of donuts for breakfast to share.

Although, from what I've heard - they may have closed some of those loopholes this year...

If it's not F&W then we like the legendary skool bread and the dole whip floats.

We always have leftover snack credits at the end of our visit so my favorite use is loading up on snacks from the resort gift shop for the ride home! The boys are thrilled with a surprise chip and dale pretzle bag or a mickey lollipop for the boring (and sad) drive home.

Absolute favorite option is to get one of the big cinnamon rolls from the Main Street Bakery (MK) for breakfast. (The big muffins also make for a tasty breakfast.) A close second would be the legendary Dole Whip Float, followed closely by a Mickey Ice Cream Bar. Mmmmm....my tummy is growling just thinking about these. :cloud9:

It used to be the Nestle Tollhouse cookie ice cream...BIG SIGH...the good news is that they still sell them in NJ so I can get my fix. I'll be searching for a new snack option when I get there in 21 days!!! :mickey:

Dole Whip or Dole Whip Float.
I didn't know you could use the snack credits at the kiosks for the F&W. That will be worth checking into.
And maybe at the bakery for breakfast items too.

Absolute Favorite - A strawberry-banana smoothie from Auntie Gravity's in MK.

And then, bags of candy from Goofy's Candy Co. to take home.

I love getting a pastry from MK Main Street bakery. I will definately have to try the Smoothie from Auntie Gravity's now. I usually forget to use all my snacks but now I have some choices I see. Less than 2 days and counting the hours.:rocks::woohoo:

Great advice - we might try something like this!!!

Although, your trip will never be as boring (or long) as ours!!! I won't try to compare sad - because it is always sad when you leave the magic behind.

I usually use up my snack credits on the frozen lemonades. Or the kiosks during the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. Does anyone know if we can still use snack credits for F&W Festival this year? :mickey:

I have never had a dole whip, but want to try one this trip. I have read on previous posts that the name is not actually dole whip or am I mistaken?

We like to either get large water bottles or Nestle chocolate milk. We never buy the milk at home so it's one of our special Disney treats Yum!

Schoolbread is a Scandinavian creation that can be found in Norway in Epcot. I am sure somebody has posted a pic of it on this site somewhere.

Really? That could be lunch!

Re: Dole Whip... for your viewing pleasure, there's a pic here (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/dining/foodphotos/magickingdom/default.asp#aloha) on InfoCentral. And here's one (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/dining/foodphotos/epcot/worldshowcase/page4.asp#kringla) of Schoolbread on InfoCentral as well (scroll down a bit). By the way, we've recently had threads about both tasty treats here; you can link to the them by clicking here (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=141313) for the Dole Whip thread and here (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=141290) for the Schoolbread thread.

Our favorites: Dole Whip Float; an Apple Charlotte from the Main Street Bake Shop; something interesting from the Boulangerie Patisserie or popcorn from anywhere!

:ditto: That's how we use our snack credits too, plus a CS meal and the days' eating is covered. We use the leftover TS credit toward a signature dining meal.

Amen to that! We booked a trip in 2005 in which we used those for snack options. It was relatively new and even the locals didn't know we could use them that way. Last year we booked during the F&W festival and loved it so much that we booked again for next month! We leave in 3 weeks - cannot wait!!!:mickey:

I love using all our snack credits up at the end, too, to load up for the trip home. We don't snack a lot in the parks because of such large meals.

Ditto on the bringing snacks home. Our family of 5 can eat 3 adult CS and still have food left over, so if we want a snack, we use a CS option or 2 which comes with a drink and a dessert. That leaves plenty of snacks left for our trip home. We had 27 left at the end of our trip and stocked up on cotton candy, Mickey pretzels, Cinderella candy necklaces in the shoe, etc. It's like a great big bag of edible souvenirs. The kids loved it, since we don't usually keep a lot of junk food around the house.
