What's Your All-Time Favorite Disney Parade?

What's your all-time favorite Disney Parade? While not a parade fanatic, I've got to say that the Mulan Parade at Disney-MGM Studios in 1998 really impressed me. From the choreography of the Samurai Warriors to the pulse and rhythm of the music - I loved the whole experience. Fortunately, I taped the parade a couple of times, so that I can continue to groove to it! lol

Wished that I had seen the Lion King Parade. By the way, was there ever a Pirates Of The Caribbean-themed parade?

If you go to the P&PP the pirate part of the parade is awesome!!! Even has Captain Jack!

Yep, I'm going for a tie between the sadly short lived Tapestry of Nations and the MSEP.

Not a huge parade fan on the whole, but those two were special.

There are several parades we love, but
Tapestry of Nations/Dreams was one of the best. I have never big a huge fan of the MK parades (except Spectromagic) but the special parades there at Christmas and Pirates & Princess and Halloween are pretty awesome!

For me it would have to be Tapestry of Dreams followed closely by MSEP. I love listening to our Epcot CD and reliving that parade in my mind.

The Main Street Electrical Parade. The infectiously upbeat music and dancing lights! Wow, I miss that. Spectro is fun but it doesn't come close to setting a mood like the Main Street Electrical Parade.

I don't know which version of the parade I saw - Dreams or Nations - but I remember it being impressive. My favorites however are the night parades. I'd have to say the Main Street Electrical Parade has a slight edge over Spectromagic but I love both.

We love Jammin in the Jungle at AK, its a fun parade and we got to watch it everyday when we worked there.

We also love the MNSSHP parade, awesome!!!

I never was fortunate enough to see the Main Street Electrical Parade, but I do really enjoy Spectromagic. I agree that the nighttime parades are the best.

My very favorite was the parade at the MVMCP last year!

As far as a daytime parade, it would have to be MJJP at AK. Cool music and great outfits for the characters and entertainers.

I would have to say the Electrical Parade...It is the 1st parade at Disney that I had ever seen and although I was 8, I can remember it very well...I hope that when my children are grown that they will have very fond memories of our time together there too...(but I have a feeling that we will be taking them back every year until they are adults any way :blush:)

Main Street Electrical Parade..It is the earliest parade I can remember. I remember watching it when I was 10-11 and was just in awe! :jaw: No parade since has caused the same response so it stands out in my memories! :D

Our All Time favorite was the Hercule's "Zero to Hero" parade at MGM in the mid-90's.

Our current favorite is the Jammin' Jungle Parade at the AK.

This was absolutely my favorite. When planning our first trip with DS(now 10) they played this music on hold for Disney reservations. After a rotten year, just to actually hear the music and see it in person just made me want to :cry:!

No question for everyone in our family was Tapestry of Nations!!! :):):) If they ever bring this one back I would be there for the first day that it runs!! I know this parade was designed for the new millennium celebration but I don't see why it can't continue to run. Sure it talked about the passage of time but that is appropriate at any time not just at the start of the millennium!

Our second most favorite has to bee the Main Street Electric!

Main Street Electrical Parade - hands down, bestest Disney parade ever!

Tapestry of Nations - simply beautiful. Tapestry of Dreams didn't even compare.

Share a Dream Come True parade - the original version far outweighed the current "Dreams" parade. Ya can't much beat Julie Andrews paying tribute to Walt for his 100th birthday/anniversary.

The former version of the Christmas parade - the one that was last broadcast live on TV from the Magic Kingdom

The MNNSHP Boo to You Parade from about three years ago. The current one is a little off, if you ask me...;)

Haven't seen MP3 (that would be Mickey's Pirate and Princess Party - "M" "P" "3"...) parade yet, and don't know if I ever will.

Ditto! I absoutely LOVED this parade. I really wish that they would bring it back. The last time that we went when they still had the parade it was cancelled because of the high winds...I was pretty disappointed. But this parade will always be my very favorite! :mickey:

Well, gosh, what a loaded question!

Nighttime parade:
Main Street Electrical Parade-when it was at WDW (having it at DCA just messes the whole thing up!). Its the first parade I remember seeing as a child at the age of 6.

Party Parade:
Has to be the Christmas Parade. You see, for YEARS, those toy soldiers and reindeer every Christmas morning as a child, and finally, at the age of 20, you get to see them in person... An amazing day for me!

Daytime Parade:
The Christmas version of Once Upon a Dream Parade at Disneyland Paris. They have REAL reindeer bringing Santa down the street. Besides, it just feels like Christmas in Paris!

There was a parade in the '90's at Magic Kingdom called "Mickey Mania Parade" which I really enjoyed - had a Rock the House with the Mouse theme which really stuck with me.
And of course it is hard to beat SpectroMagic.

Has to be the 'Boo to You' parade at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party... the Haunted Mansion dancers and the HM float are awesome! Start it off with the Headless Horseman racing through Liberty Square and it's a GREAT time!
Of course, SpectroMagic and the Main Street Electircal Parade are tied for my favorite non-party parade...
