Safari Amber?

If you like to treat yourself (as I do) to a Bass Ale from time to time, Safari Amber should be right up your alley:beer:

1) Like Bass Ale, the Amber might be too bitter for you.
2) If so, ask for a shot of Sprite to be added.
3) This reduces the brightness/bitterness of the ale and makes it smoother.

NOTE: If you mix ½-Bass and ½-Sprite, it is called a Shandy. If you add 1-2 shots of Sprite in the bottom of a pint of Bass, it is called a Half Bitter Bass.

DH and I get the Safari Amber when we have a TS lunch/dinner at AK, and we really like it. It's crisp, and very refreshing on a hot day. It's definitely better than Bud.

If you like Killian's Red or Michelob Amber Bock you will like Safari Amber.

I'm not sure if they still have it, but one year I tried the Beer Flight? at Rose and Crown. I can't remember the details (guess it was :thumbsup:). Really though, it was 5 samples, I'm sure one was a Guiness, I think a Black and Tan some kind of ale, etc. I don't know if you are like me or not, but I found as I got to the darkest end, I didn't want anymore. I shall go to red and no further.

Ive actually had the beer flight a few times:beer:
hmm dont remember Guiness on it but it was good & i think i shall have 1 again shortly (Sept3rd for 8 nights)
