Magical Express Question

I have somewhat of a strange question. We are headed to the world from 9/8-9/15 and are renting a car at MCO. We just found out a few days ago that DH is going to have to leave a few days before us to head to another destination. Can he take ME one way back to the airport or am I better just getting him a taxi? Thanks for your information, I appreciate it.
