I saw in another post here about someone looking at WDW from Google Maps. That got me thinking about trying out WDW with a great website a co-worker showed me... http://maps.live.com
This site not only does the straight down aerial view, but also has a bird-eye view.

VERY cool!:mickey:

A couple cool things to check out:

Landfill to the west of MK (at the end of Maple Rd) bird's eye view, looking South (rotate the view twice)... 20k Submarines lined up, ready for whatever they did to them.

W-NW of MK, near US 27 (several miles from MK, not on WDW property)... "Mikey Forest", the largest hidden mickey to date.

K, Slater!

Haha, must have been a show going on in front of the castle. Very clear images. Proves the all-reaching grasp of media conglomerates-this time of course, to our benefit. :mickey:

Every time you go outside, big brother is watching you. They can see us even from space. Not that we should be paranoid or anything.

Awesome view of Splash Mountain if you zoom in and do a counter-clockwise turn!

Also, over at DHS, you can see the boat behind the stage at Fantasmic. You can also see parts of the huge hidden mickey... the eyes, nose and one ear.

That is a fun site, but not up to date. I looked at Epcot and it showed the arm of Mickey and the wand still in place. Talk about out of date.

The wand came down less than a year ago!

The views seem to lag 2-3 years behind. I believe many of the birds-eye views come from studies commissioned by county tax appraisers.

Look at River Country -- Don't think I would want to even stick my toes in that anymore.

Thanks
