Well, as of this week, it is three years until we go back to Disney. While it seems like a long time, I have a feeling with everything that is going to be happening it will just fly by quickly.

Now, my 2 1/2 year old is 37" tall right now. If I extrapolate that out he should be 44" tall by the time we go back in 2011.

Nothing like taking a 5 1/2 year old onto Space Mountain or BTMR for the first time. :)

On a somewhat unrelated note... it is twenty years ago this week I started my first year in college.

It is 20 yrs this year since I started my senior year of high school. My DS is starting his freshman year of high school tomorrow. My how time flies!

When do you plan to go down in 2011? We are thinking about late February as it will be my "depressing" birthday.:mickey:

Actually, it will be in August of that year. And... I will be forty so I will be so happy that year...

Keep planning that trip and the time will fly by. Watching the expresion on your childs face during his first trip on Space Mountain or BTMRR is a nice prize at the end of that three years!

On an aside note, I turn the big 4-0 this year and I am heading out to Disneyland in a few days with some friends. Hopefully the trip will help defeat the blahs I swore I wouldn't let get me down!:mickey: I hit 40 in December and the DW and I have discussed a November WDW trip - the two combined trips should - hopefully - make 40 run screaming in terror!:D

it'll fly by. Think of all the anticipation you can build up for the rides in 3 years.

Can't say that I've ever heard that word  but I just wanted to say that my son is 5 1/2 & we are going next month & he's 45.5" I was just hoping for 44" but in just a few months he went way past that. Have fun planning!
