If you guys are like us, the last day of the trip is tough to take (and we live an hour away from WDW!)....when we check out, load up the warwagon and either hit the pool or Downtown Disney, we cannot help but feel slightly depressed. I would have to say that for this reason, the check-in day is the best day of the trip....does anyone agree?

The morning that we check out........will be much different and hopefully better this next trip in Dec.
Last trip we got up and headed to the airport. Not much magic in that.

This year we booked an evening (5pm) flight so we have a much happier plan.
Get up ,check out and store bags at bell services.
Have an early(8:15am) ADR at Crystal Palace and then a few hours at MK before heading back to the hotel and ME at 2ish for flight home.
CP is one of our favorites places, so I left it until the morning we leave for added anticipation and a few final hours at MK will thrill the kids.

You know what it is like? This might sound weird to some of you but it is like the depression you get after you get married. It is not that you are sad that you are married it is that you spent months planning it and enjoying it and then it is over and you are left blue...or at least I was. But it kind of reminds me of that. We have spent the last two months discussing this and we have several more looming ahead of us as to where to eat, when to eat there, what park to hit when, where to stay, all of that. So when we are there and enjoying it when it is done it will feel kind of sad...very sad.

It's always bitter sweet! We always visit the MK on our last day & when we leave we say goodbye to the Castle & goodbye to MK! When we go back to Pop to head out, we make a big to do about saying goodbye to everything there! :sadwave: It's always so sad, exactly like the day after Christmas! After all the planning, the saving & the giddiness, it's suddenly over & I'm always wondering when we'll return. :( At that moment, it feels like forever! :crying:
