Besides Downtown Disney, can anyone suggest a good place to have a CS outside of the parks? We are looking to take a break during the afternoon to check out the various hotels we have never seen before like Fort Wilderness and Animal Kingdom lodge and would welcome any suggestions.

The Pepper Market at CSR provides a large selection and great food. Beautiful resort to walk around too.

If you are at AK anyway, Mara is neat. At FW, I'd recommend paying OOP for Trails End (especially if you are there around dinner time). It's a TS, but very reasonable and really good food. Gasparilla Grille (sp?) at GF is standard CS faire, but if you take it outside to eat lakeside it transforms into more of a dining experience :mickey:

Wilderness Lodge & Animal Kingdom Lodge are good choices. Roaring Fork at WL has good sandwiches and AKL's Mara has excellent African Stew and Flatbreads.

The food courts at All Stars and Pop have a pretty good variety.

Coronado Springs has Pepper Market, an above average food court.

Truthfully, though, the best CS places are in the parks and at Downtown Disney.

Captain Cook's at the Polynesian has good flatbreads and sandwiches (and Dole Whips!). :mickey:

You can get beignets at POFQ's food court. I'm not sure how the rest of the food is though!

Another vote for Mara at AKL. They have some excellent selections.
