Halloween Decor

When do the decorations for Halloween start going up? I was there last Sept. and the MK was already decorated but this year we are going earlier (in 12 days actually!!!) and I was hoping they wouldn't be up yet... would like pictures in the entrance of MK without the pumpkins! Anyone have any idea?

Also, did they stop doing the "Nightmare before Christmas" overlay at the Haunted Mansion? I didn't much care for it myself.. would much rather prefer the classic HM!

They'll start putting things up around September 1.

Also, the HM "Nightmare Before Christmas" is at DLR, not WDW.

And more than likely, it will never be at the WDW HM.

It's too much of an international park, as opposed to the more local park for DL.

We arrived there the day after labor day and I think we had a couple of days without the decorations last year.

There really aren't many halloween decorations, they mostly go up right before MNSSHP and come right back down when its over
