Best Nightime Ride?

What is the best ride to experience at night? I have alway liked ToT. I am interested in other opinions.

first I think there are many rides that are enhanced by nighttime. some of my favorites or big thunder mountain, jungle cruise, tot, and expedition everest

At the Magic Kingdom we like both Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain.
At Epcot We love Test Track
At Animal Kingdom it definatley Expedition Everest:mickey:

I haven't had a chance to ride Expedition Everest in the dark but hear its awsome.

Some of my favorites are Big Thunder Mountain always have to give this a ride when its dark out.

Also Astro Orbiter or the People Mover are also pretty cool at night when you can see MK from higher up all lit up its really cool.

The Jungle Cruise is such a great experience at night. The captains get more rowdy. The guests seem to be more active. The lines are shorter, and it's just (IMO) a much better ride.

Splash Mountain is the only ride I've done at night, but I'll bet ToT would be fun too.:mickey:

Splash Mountain - the view from the exterior portions of the ride near the top are tremendous.

Astro-Orbiter - night time (with the lights of tomorrowland) is the only time to ride it.

Big Thunder Mountain the night adds an element to the ride you can't get in the day.

Haunted Mansion...just spookier.

I agree with Splash Mountain especially if you can time it so that you come out for the big drop during Wishes. We did this last year because we've seen wishes so many times that we decided to continue doing some rides instead of looking for a spot to view the fireworks. We popped out for the big drop just as some of the fireworks were going off and the view was truly magical. A very pleasant and unexpected surprise for us.

-For the MK nothing beats Splash, especially if, as others have said, it is timed just so. I also love the TTA on a balmy summers evening.
-In DHS I adore ToT at night as it really adds to the atmosphere and it's fab to get a look at the Osborne lights in Dec.
-Over at EPCOT it has to be the Test Track, also great when the fireworks are on :number1:

There is one other 'ride' I really love to do at night and that's the boat from POR to DD. It's really beautiful and nice to share with loved ones.

I love riding the People Mover at night in the MK. Tomorrow Land all lit up at night looks very neat.

Haunted Mansion is my absolute FAVORITE ride at MK, and it's even better to ride at night - it's so much spookier and it seems like less guests go on at night, so you feel like you're actually going semi-alone into a haunted house...I actually make a point to do it at least once at night :D

My other favorite at night is DEFINITELY TTA because of the lights of Tomorrowland!

Another vote for BTMRR. I think the "rock" color is so cool at night, and looking up at the stars (the few you see in greater Orlando) from some of the lift hills is totally fun!

Big Thunder Mountain at night is awesome.. I love the drop on Splash Mountain at night too.. The view you get of the park before you fall is terrific...

AK - E:E is way better at night, you can see the yeti much better, the view off to the left as you climb is awesome!

Definitely Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain are fun at night.

I think Tower of Terror is definitely better at night. Walking through the outdoor queue in the dark and then into having the doors open up to a dark sky an dlit up MGM just fits the atmosphere of the ride perfectly.

Splash Mountain can be fun at night if you can match up your ride with the fireworks. It makes for a fantastic view before the big drop.

Thunder Mountain sometimes seems faster at night or in a light rain, as well.

Lastly, the Haunted Mansion is fun at night for obvious reasons.

I love doing splash mountain at night! That drop seems even higher and faster!! And BTMR seems faster at night, too! I've never done TOT at night, so I'm gonna have to try that one!!

Splash Mountain for sure! The view is so beautiful up there.

Also, the Haunted Mansion. While the ride isn't effected itself, going at night adds to the creepy factor before and after you enter :thumbsup:

Some of my favorites are Haunted Mansion, ToT, BTMRR and Splash Mtn.! However, my over all favorite has to be the Tomorrowland Transit Authority! There is just something magical about that ride after dark, slowly moving through Tomorrowland with all the lights shining and the castle just a little ways off! I love it!! :mickey:

I have to admit- the last 2 times i went on the JC at night were terrific-
its darker and things look more realistic-
Plus the Cms seem to be a little more open-

Also- i enjoy going on Test track at night-

I have to say my favourite ride to do at night is Haunted Mansion (granted, it's my favourite ride to do anytime!). It just is more spooky and fun! Other favourites are Splash Mountain, TTA, BTMR, and Dumbo, as you get great views, esp. during Wishes!

Hand down the Best ride at night is Everest. The tunnels are pitch black and it adds so much to the ride.

Big Thunder Mountain. It seems more like a runaway train at night, it seems faster, and it has great nighttime views of the park. Plus if it is your last ride you can take a slow walk to the front gate and experience the park at a more quiet time.

i love splash mountain at night. My favorite part of MK at night is tommorowland because of all the lights. I like to do space mountain at night. Its inside so you can't really tell the difference but the line walking in is even darker when theres no light coming from the front. I think that just makes it alot cooler. Also the people mover at night is alot of fun :thumbsup:

Expedition Everest front car; front seat - wait a couple turns if you need to - when you get to the top at rail break, right before you start backwards, the view is spectacular.:thumbsup:

My favorite would have to be riding the monorail around spaceship earth at night. The colors of the ball and the fountains with lights are very exciting to see. Plus you can see lots of people enjoying themselves in the park.
