Well, we did it! For about 6 months now DH and I have been looking into DVC.

We read and re-read all the material. Since we are down here we thought we would really sit down and talk to someone and look at the suites...

So, yesterday we went to Saratoga Springs and toured the rooms. LOVED them absolutely amazing. So we bit the bullet and bought 280 points!!!! I'm so nervous and sooo excited!!! The incentives were great so we couldn't not to do it. Financially we really should have waited until January but with all the incentives and it was so worth it to do it now I'm sooo excited!!!!

Congratulations, I am sure you will enjoy it. We ended up buying a house just outside of Disney but still aren't willing to give up our points. You can debate the value forever but it really comes down to personal preferences and in my opinion emotions playing a role isn't always bad thing. We already have a bunch of great memories and only joined in 2005. Best of luck to you.
