If you could chose any place in DHS to eat, where would you chose? I am having a hard to deciding if I should stick with my Mama Melrose ADR or cancel and chose another resturant. Any thoughts?

We didn't care for Mama Melrose's but you will find this is a debatable subject, it wasn't bad enough to say never again, we might give it another shot because it could have been an off day.....the only place I will say I absolutely no more chances would be ABC Commisary at DHS>

I would suggest Brown Derby. It's a bit costly, but you could choose the cheaper choice and go there for lunch.

By FAR the best restaurant at DHS is Brown Derby (IMO). As a matter of fact, it's my favorite restaurant in all of WDW. The food and service are top notch.

I agree with both of the above - we did not care for mama melrose either and we like Brown Derby - I would go there

Good Luck

I agree on the Brown Derby. We also really like 50s Prime Time - it's really a fun place and the food is good.

well me and dw had a horrible experience at Mamma Melrose, i mean the food was so bad that we would probably never go back, we enjoy the 50's Prime Time allot and haven't missed eating there in our past 5 trips. the food is good and as mentioned it is a fun place to eat. hope this helps.
enjoy your trip.

:mickey:Brown Derby by a longshot. As mentioned it is pricey but we have never had a bad meal there. Mama Melrose's is a hit/miss.

We ate once at Mama Melrose and would not eat there again unless we had no other option.

Brown Derby is pricey but good.

Our top 2 fav's are Sci Fi Drive in (more for the atmosphere and drinks then the food) and 50's Prime Time Cafe.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and story's. We have actually choosen to opt out of DHS's all together and go eat at Epcot that night at Biergarten..we're on the DDP and did not want to use 2 tickets to eat at BD. After we eat we'll just park hop back over to DHS or go the next day. Thanks again.
