One of our favorite things to do at Epcot is to hang out until around 10:45 and wait until they burn off the rest of the propane in the "inferno" barge. We laugh every time the announcer comes on and says "...this display is both intentional and controlled."
But the last three times we've been there, we've waited until after 11:00, and it hasn't happened. They aren't even scurrying around to move the other barges like they used to.
A friend said she asked a WDW security guard about it one night. The guard said that they are now burning all the propane during the show, so there's nothing left to burn.
Makes sense, I guess... with fuel prices the way they are. I just wanted to check... has anyone seen the burn-off in the past month or so?
