Kids clothes for 97 cents at Jcp!

I work at J C Penney and I spent the morning marking down a good portion of the childrens department to .97! We got in all the back to school clothes and we need to make room for them so most of the clearance went to .97 to get rid of them. All of the J C Penneys should be doing this. I don't have kids and I have thought about buying some to put aside for Christmas to donate. But I thought I would pass on the good sale!

I was just at the one in our area, and I picked up 6 pair of shorts at $1.97 each for DD. :twocents:Then I went to Target and found another pair of shorts for $1.25 and a skirt for $3.50. :secret:And then at Kohls I got her a nice pair of sandals for $8.99 down from $29.99 (overpriced to begin with, IMO). Some good deals out there. :thumbsup:

I marked down clothes of every age this morning, from 0-3 months to 16.

We did sell A LOT today. People were buying them like crazy. One lady bought a few hundred dollars worth of .97 clothes to give to other families that needed it.

The rest of the store has some great deals too, but nothing like I saw coming from the childrens department.


Is it just kids clothes or have they marked down baby stuff as well?

I went to JCP today and our store was only marked to $1.97...but I still got some good deals for the kids. The clothes were so picked through it was hard to find things in their sizes.
