January Reservations

We are considering an early January trip so I went online to see what availabilty was and it wouldn't let me select January for a room date.

Are they not taking January ressies yet? It just seemed odd to me.

Yes, I noticed that too. I knew they were making adjustments to the advanced dinning reservations, but I didn't know the freeze would be placed on reserving rooms as well.

This was concerning because I had just found a great price for airfare, but I don't want to book until I'm sure we'll be able to stay where we want to when we get there.

I noticed the same thing when I tried to book my 2007 trip. I believe the website won't let you select a January travel date until the 2009 rates are out. If you call central reservations or use a travel agency, you can make your reservations and lock in 2008 rates. I booked my 2007 trip in June 2006 by calling central reservations. :mickey:
