Which Theme Park Is Your Favorite?

Out of all of the Disney Theme Parks, I would say... Magic Kingdom is my favorite. It's classic, fun, and reminds me of the movies that I love to watch. What is your's?

I'd have to agree with you. MK will always remind me of the summer evenings when I was a kid watching the Wonderful World of Disney. The opening of that program, which showed scenes from POTC in DL, is what made me want to visit WDW the most.:wave::balloon::mickey:

I think that we spend more time in Epcot than any other park, but I had to pick MK. It wouldn't be the same without MK.

Hard one...I couldn't say I loved them all because I am usually in and out of AK in about 3 hours.

For classic, I love MK. BUT, the beauty and ambiance of MGM Studios at night just does something to me. Gorgeous...yes, and I know it isn't MGM anymore, but it always will be to me.

Walking down Sunset Blvd with the beautifully lit and ominous ToT at the end of the street, the Chinese theater, the quiet beauty of the Star Tours Ewok village and Muppetvision area. I love that end of the park near closing time. It always seems to empty out and you almost have it all to yourself.

Of course, I love all of the parks at night - there's something so amazingly magical about nighttime at WDW. The way everything is lit is so perfect. Although, I can say I've never been to AK when it's dark out. Hopefully I'll get a chance in Sept on an extra magic hours night.

It's really sad that people have to choose. I love them all because they are all themed differently and give a variety of entertainment to all walks of life. Who can resist the animals and special effects at Animal Kingdom, or the history of the movies and arts at Disney Studios. Sure EPCOT is geared towards culture and technology and Magic Kingdom is pure magic and I visit these two more only because it takes so long to see EVERYTHING there, but I love them all equally.:blush:

I voted for all. I like some more than others, but had to go with all the same. Each one has a uniqeness and has one of my favorites in it. Epcot=favorite restaurants (most any in world showcase). MK=favorite rides (LOVE the classic dark rides). DHS=favorite closing show (FANTASMIC). AK=favorite stage show (FOTLK).

Everytime I see/hear this question I always say Magic Kingdom. It's the epitome of Disney. EPCOT does come in a pretty close 2nd, but MK will always be the best for me!!

:exactly: This was a tough one for me too! We always got to the MK on 1st & last park days, but we also do 2 days of Epcot! One day for FW & one day for WS. I love the diversity of Epcot! Having both the rides and all the other fantastic attractions and the lush landscaping, Epcot is probably my fav! :thumbsup:

I find Epcot kinda boring.

I love Disneyland so much that the MK seems like a failed attempt to capture the magic of Disneyland.

And Hollywood Studios seems poorly laid out and doesn't have much to do.

Magic Kingdom for sure. For me I would plan a trip to Orlando to just go to MK. On the flipside, if MK did not exist and the other parks did.........Me might plan a trip once every 5 or 10 years. I suppose MK just brings make so many wonderful childhood memories and the other parks are just theme parks to me.

for my first favorite i would have to choose Magic Kingdom because it can make u feel like a kid again no matter how old u are! and i also like MGM studios because of the fact that everything is supposed to back be back in old hollywood and i love that kind of thing... but i dont know if it still that way since i have not been there since they changed it!!!!

My favorite WDW theme park would have to be the Magic Kingdom. Every single time that i think, hear or see and ad about walt disney world you see the Cinderella's castle. The castle is the sole theme park trade mark for the Magic Kingdom.

Every time this topic comes up, I'm always struck by the fact that the parks have a popularity factor that descends in direct corrleation to when they were built (inverse, from oldest to newest).

I think that speaks volumes about the effort that went into building the two newest parks as compared to the effort that went into the first two.

It's hard to pick a favorite because each park has something(s) I love, but it all started with MK and it all starts there for me.

I believe that EPCOT, HS, and AK are expansions of the original dream found in the Magic Kingdom. That is the mother ship and where all the magic finds its advent.

for me it's DHS , when we first visited WDW back in 95, this was the first park that we went too, and we had just gotten there when they were haveing they're parade at that time( i think it was aladin), and this just made me say wow this is great, and i also liked the feel at the park, loved the great movie ride (still do), backlot tour was much better then it is now, but i still like it now, being a movie buff, it just hit home with me, and to this day this is my fav park , dw's fav is mk, but i must say that i like them all, they're all different which is great. if i had to list them it would go as follows
1. DHS
2. Epcot
3. MK
4. AK

I love them all, but if I had to choose, it would be Epcot. The atmosphere is more relaxed, and to be able to experience so many different cultures in one place is something that only Disney could accomplish.:thumbsup:

I truly do love 'em all. However, if I were only there for 1 day and could only do 1 park, I can't think of anything I'd like better than a late afternoon/evening stroll around WS lagoon in EPCOT,sampling all the local foods, drinks, and music, and topping off the evening with a fantastic Illuminations show! :cloud9:
