Can I get the Free Dining if I have an AP ?

We are going to be @ the World in September. IF there is a " bounceback offer " for free dining next September we plan on taking advantage of it and booking for 20 days in September 2009. We are also planning on getting AP's next year. Will we still be able to book our room and recieve the free dining offer IF it is offered? I'd also like to know if we can split our trip between 2 resorts instead of staying @ same one for 20 days ? :confused:

I know that you can split your trip but I do not think that you can use it with the AP - since it a magic your way incentive - but you can upgrade your ticket after Sept to a AP (but I guess that doesn't help you if you go before

I got Free Dining this year even though I have an AP. What you have to do is purchase the package with the lowest ticket option, a 1 Day Base Ticket. The cost of that ticket can be put towards the renewal of your AP at a later date. If you are the only one in your party with an AP, everyone else can update their tickets from a 1 Day Base to whatever they need for the trip upon check-in, they just pay the difference.

When we looked into the free dining for our trip last Sept we had to book the room at the regular rate plus purchase a 1-day pass to be eligible for the free dining.

It was cheaper for us to take advantage of the annual passholder room rate & pay for meals than it was to take advantage of the free dining.

Ty everyone for the info. We will all be purchasing AP's for 2009 & would love to book IF the Free Dining is offered. I guess we'll have to get the basic ticket for 1 day and just use the credit towards 2010 AP renewals.

Will y'all let us know if they offer the bounce-back free dining?

I take that offer as a good sign that they will have free dining for the general public in the spring.
