Nope, their contract was up years ago and rumor has it that they will NEVER come back.

Too bad about their contract, they were great. We looked for them last year, but no luck. Now we know why. :angry:

Eveyone got real excited recently because of the shows that have been on the Travel Channel recently. Unfortunatly most of those shows are extremly out of date. I believe the living statues were on one of the shows and everyone thought they were back...no such luck we really enjoyed them when they were there.

And I love the old wdw commercials that showed them in WS!

From what I remember hearing, their contract not being renewed was not their choice and it was not an amicable parting of the ways. I might be wrong though.

The "newest" Season of Disney on the Travel Channel did show a snippet with them in it. This had to have been old footage since the last time they appeared in Epcot was in 2005.
They were there from 1999-2005. It was so funny watching them interact with unsuspecting guests.

That's really too bad. :( We were at Epcot while we were there, but we didn't get a chance to see them. I really liked what I saw on the travel channel show.
