Crowds Aug 23-Sept 2

I know that this is the beginning of the Free Dining, but can anyone tell me what kind of crowds to expect Aug 23-Sept 2? Thanks for your help!

We were at WDW in both 2005 and 2006 during free dining, and although the end of August is really, really hot, the crowds weren't too bad at all.

Most rides had a short wait, and for anything longer than 20 minutes we grabbed a FastPass.

We will be down Aug 28-Sept 2 for a short trip. Hopefully it won't be too hot and too crowded. From what I've been able to gather it's not been as crowded this year as usual. Hope you have a great time.

Crowd levels are 5-7 out of 10 for those days with 10 being the most crowded. It should be pretty nice for you. Have fun!

We were there during those dates in 2007 and it wasn't bad. It was hot but the crowds weren't bad anywhere we went. We saw a lot of people turned away though from the restaurants that weren't on free dining and just tried to walk up. Most restaurants were full. Crowds were very manageable.

We were there same week last year.
Very manageable. Not empty, but uncrowded enough that we are going again same week this year!!

We were their during the free dining period in both '05 & '06, beautiful weather and the crowds were light. We're going from 8/25 - 9/4 this year as well. :thumbsup:

This is exactly when my trip is, I went in August in 2006, and it wasn't as crowded as it usually is.
