I still have one ADR to make, I know I know its getting close, we check in sept.3rd. Ive heard some complaints about crystal palace's food. We have a breakfast there at 920am. should we keep this or cancel it? we couldn't get any earlier than this. I really wanted the before the gates opened ressie. Not sure though if it is worth keeping if I don't get it. Which is better, this breakfast or 1900 park fare's breakfast?

We went to Crystal Palace for bkfst last time we went and it was me and my kids fav!!
The food was good, and it was setup IMO way better then say Chef Mickeys which we found loud and chaotic. Though we had an EARLY ressie so you have less noise that way!!
PPooh and friends are great too!!!

We really enjoy CP breakfast! You might want to consider changing it to the earliest reservation you can. We had an 8:10 ressie. You get to enter the park long before anyone else. We were the only ones walking down Main Street (http://www.flickr.com/photos/10566431@N04/960753580/sizes/l/in/set-72157601117224937/) it was surreal! Plus it was nice to get a nice shot infront of the Partners (http://www.flickr.com/photos/10566431@N04/960753580/sizes/l/in/set-72157601117224937/) statue without any crowds.

The food was delicious, they have a breakfast lasagne to die for!

If you do Park Fare, get the last reservation. The characters will spend more time with you. The Mad Hatter (http://www.flickr.com/photos/10566431@N04/1583850158/in/set-72157602440251312/) sat down with us for about 5 minutes and he and Mary Poppins were up to no good!

Both are very good, but I prefer 1900 PF. The characters are fantastic, and so is the food!

we did the 1900 park fare breakfast last time, so we know we really love the food but we ate at crystal palace for lunch, not breakfast. We stick with buffets. This way we all get what we want. We don't like surf and turf, I am a vegetarian, my husband doesn't eat the sides that are veggies or weird stuff, so anywhere that isn't a buffet in Disney, about half of our meal, is worthless to us and no variety if we switch foods off our plates. besides, this way we don't have to wait for our food to cook, BONUS! haha. Thanks guys, I will keep that breakfast ress. They didnt have an earlier reservation, I guess I could call back and ask again.

ugh, there is no earlier reservation for sept 7th than 920, which is what we have. They did have an 810 for 4 people. grrr.oh well, we will take what we can get.

I have never eaten at Park Fare but hear that it's good. We have had breakfast at the Crystal Palace many times and have always been very happy with it. IMO most Disney buffet breakfast are all pretty much the same.

We have been to the Crystal palace, Cape May Cafe, and Chef Mickey's many times and the selections are pretty standard and the food has always been very good at all of those locations.

By the way I am a vegetarian also and the Crystal Palace had alot for me to eat.

I like the breakfast buffets. We think that is the best time of the day to do buffet bc breakfast protein is pretty good as far as not weighing you down too heavy and it gets you pumped for the day. I don't agree that the buffets are pretty standard though. There are a few where the menus are plentiful but most of the resorts offer a breakfast buffet and it does not have that many choices. I feel the same way about cape may cafe, the garden grill, hollywood and vine, and several others. They just don't seem to have enough options for me. I am a grazer. I want 1 oz of each food, so you can bet that I will pick and choose and then take the menu with the longest list of items. Park fare was awesome! I love the GF, I feel right at home there, and the waitress was very nice there compared the the chef mickey's waitress we had who was downright mean. but filled in our last ressie today, yay!!! It is boma at 0730! I am excited to try the Frunch!

hahaha, that's ok. I won't fret. I will probably enjoy it whether or not I like it.
