resort airline check-in ?

Hello All,

Has anyone used airline check-in at the resorts since all the new baggage fees went into place? Has the process changed? I read on another website that they cannot accept payments for your baggage and there is some number you have to call the night before to take care of this. I know you have to take bags over 50 lbs. directly to the airport, so I am referring to the new fees for all checked bags. (We are flying AA). We have used the service last year, and definitely want to take advantage of this perk again. Any help would be much appreciated :thumbsup: !

1) DME cannot take cash payments.
2) You have to charge over-the-phone the day before leaving.
3) Without paid luggage fee(s), they won't handle the nags.

You need to call the airline. All of them are so different that it is hard to keep track of them.

From what I understand you cannot pay at the check in at the resorts since the are not direct airline employees. I don't know what kind of proof you would have that you prepaid for your checked luggage.
