July 13, 1925 - Walt married Lillian Bounds in Lewiston, Idaho.
July 13, 1928 – Actor Bob Crane was born in Waterbury, Ct. Famously known as Colonel Hogan on the classic TV series Hogan’s Heroes, Crane appeared in the live-action Disney films “Superdad” (as Charlie McCready) and “Gus” (as Peppers).
July 13, 1935 – Disney’s Mickey Mouse cartoon “Mickey’s Garden” was released.
July 13, 1940 – Actor Patrick Stewart, the voice of Mr. Woolensworth in the 2005 animated feature “Chicken Little,” was born in England. (Science fiction fans will recognize him as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek, and from the TV series the X-Men as Professor Charles Xavier.)
July 13, 1945 – Disney’s Goofy short “Californy er Bust” was released.
July 13, 1946 – Actor/comedian Cheech Marin was born in Los Angeles, Ca. His Disney voice credits include “Cars” as Ramone, “The Lion King” as Banzai the Hyenea, and “Oliver & Company” as Tito.
July 13, 1955 – “The Pre-Opening Report from Disneyland,” the final progress report on Disneyland’s construction aired on ABC, 4 days away from the grand opening. A special event happened while the show was airing at Disneyland. Walt and Lillian would celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary at Disneyland. Lillian Disney invited guests to a “Tempus Fugit Celebration,” in which guests were transported down Main Street into Frontierland by horse-drawn surreys, then guests would take a ride around the Rivers of America aboard the Mark Twain.
July 13, 1955 – The Disney TV show “Further Report on Disneyland, A/A Tribute to Mickey Mouse” aired.
July 13, 1955 – Eighteen-year-old Bob Penfield began working at Disneyland 4-days before the parks grand opening. He is attending an orientation for cast members. Bob will earn $1.65 an hour. (He will go on to work for Disneyland for the next 42 years, making him the longest working cast member in history.)
July 13, 1962 – Comedian-actor Tom Kenny was born in East Syracuse, N.Y. Best known as the voice of Sponge Bob Square Pants, Kenny also appeared in Disney’s 2005 “Sky High.”

Now there's a way to celebrate an anniversary. Sounds like she had a bit of showman in her personality as well.
