Switching dates?

My mom had gave my daughter and me her points from another timeshare to trade for a timeshare at DVC. We were trying for the end of Feb. but nothing yet. So we were thinking of changing it to the end of Jan. instead. Do you think this is a good plan or not? Do you think if would be easier to get a 2 bd. at that time of year?:confused::confused:

Except for maybe Martin Luther King Jrs day/weekend, I think January would be easier then February. In February you are running into winter recess.

Have you thought about being willing to take a one bedroom? That may also increase your chances. To get into the DVC rooms you need to be as flexible as possible.

I wish I could change to a 1 bdrm however there is 8 people going. I hope this works otherwise I will be missing Disney next year.

In my experience January (except MLK weekend) is almost dead...I would think it would be easier to get a room, but we haven't tried to use our DVC points at that time yet.
