Tusker House in AK

Is the Tusker House now a TS? It seems when we were there in 2006, it was a CS.

Tusker is a TS buffet now. Have an ADR there for Sept.

Oh...I see! Well, I'm wondering where to eat for lunch: Tusker House or Yak and Yeti. Are there characters at Tusker House?

There are no characters at Tusker House. If your choice is between Yak & Yeti and Tusker House, I would heartily recommend Tusker House. The buffet there is very good. DW and I didn't care for Yak & Yeti much at all.

Tusker House breakfast is with Donald and the gang.

DH and I had lunch there in March - 1st seating around 11:15 am. We felt very rushed and couldn't seem to find our server when we needed him.

I think it is worth a shot.

Only breakfast at Tusker House is a character meal. The characters are Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Daisy.

That being said, I really miss the chicken sandwich from when Tusker House was CS.:(

Also I did try for Yak and Yeti and changed my mind. Kind of an unspoken rule I guess, if you do 180 days out you can do all your ADRs at the same time for your length of stay. Y&Y wouldn't do it. Wasn't worth going through the process again for one place.

OOPS! :blush: I forgot about breakfast. I was thinking lunch and dinner since those are the only times DW and I have been there....so far
