Wishes-Illuminations-Fantasmic

If you only had one day that you could do fireworks which one of these would you pick? We have a hopper so that isn't an issue. We are limited on time this trip and I can't make up my mind which one.... ??????:mickey:

I second the Illuminations vote. Fireworks on the water is just great. Especially with the awesome music and the spectacular ending.

i really like all of them but i would have to go with wishes. they are the most classic and the music is awesome. illuminations is good but i don't like how at the end it becomes so smokey from the fire and fireworks, you can hardly see the ending fireworks. and fantasmic is an awesome so but it's not so much fireworks as the other two.

Fantasmic! Definatly my favorite!! I didn't really like Illuminations that much..:secret:. And wishes was good, but I can't believe no one else said Fantasmic?! I love it!

My choice would be Wishes. Illuminations is also awesome and inspiring, but Disneyworld just isn't Disneyworld without fireworks over the castle.

If it is a Spectro night at MK I would go for the Specto/Wishes combo. If not I would choose Fantasmic.

Oh, this is a HARD one...I love them all, but for me, it is Fantasmic. My DH would probably say Illuminations...but Wishes does make your heart swell and your eyes tear up.

Now that is a tough decision! Definately would not be Fantasmic.
I would have to go with Illuminations...I love the pre-show music as well as the show itself. WISHES! Is a close second.

Between these three I'd see them in this order:
#1 - Fantasmic
#2 - Wishes
#3 - Illuminations

Fantasmic is more of a show than the other two so I think that's why I prefer it over the other two. If I was choosing based on just "fireworks", I'd pick Wishes. The music that goes along with Wishes makes me cry (happy tears) every time!

Wow, this is a TOUGH question. For that reason here's WHY I love each one and maybe it'll help you decide:

1. Illuminations: This show just blows me away, it brings up emotions of pride in our human brothers all around the world, complete with gorgeous pyrotechnics above and beyond just fireworks. And touching music.

2. Wishes: This is child wonderment embodied. The fireworks arrangement is out of this world, and I mean you know it's Disney World when you see the fireworks framing the castle. I just love it!

3. Fantasmic! More of a stage show with lights and fireworks. You get a good view from everywhere, you get to see Mickey in action with tons of other characters. The music is fun, the show is great and you also get to see a fire breathing dragon.


That being said, I think if you put a gun to my head to choose one, it would probably be Illuminations. We stay at the BCV most of the time and go see this show a couple of times every trip and never get tired of it. That being said, it is a TOUGH choice.

Here's another vote for wishes.

Illuminations and Fantasmic are both great, but nothing can beat the fantastic Disney fireworks with music over Cinderella's castle. It's just the essence of Disney to me and turns me into a kid again every time I see it.

I haven't enjoyed Illuminations yet we can never find a good spot to see it so I am always fighting to see it everytime we go.
