I thought I'd use my 600th post to give a shout out and let everyone know I have lost 41 lbs. I joined a gym January 24rth and have been going faithfully 6 days a week. I've been doing cardio and strength training. I've also made some healthy life style changes about the food I eat. It's been frustrating at times but the results are really giving me a boost in the self esteem department.

Congratulations! That is an amazing accomplishment - those types of lifestyle changes are hard to make and stick to, as I am learning to my chagrin. Kudos to you!

Way to go! I have only lost 13 since I began my lifestyle change. Stories like yours are inspirational to those of us trying to do the same:mickey:

Congratulations on your lifestyle change. I started running in April 07 and know how hard it can be to keep with it, what with everything in our busy lives. It really has been a lifestyle change, not just a new hobby.

And just think of how touring WDW will be a breeze -- you'll have energy to spare at the end of the day! :)

congratulations on your great accomplishment, I was overweight in school and never had a date.I finally lost all those pounds (the wrong way) I replaced food for smoking. /My lung ended up collapseing and I had to quit So I started gaining all th weight back ,I went into a state of depression so, my dad bought me a treadmill Itry to wallk on it at least 30 minutes a day. i now weigh under 120 so I am ok with that. God has BLESSED me.

Congrats to you! I joined a gym in early March and have been watching my food intake since January and I am down about 41 lbs too, so I know how much hard work it takes. Keep up the great work!

Congrats! As someone who has struggled with weight issues, I know how challenging it is to make a lifestyle change like this.
41 pounds is awesome!!! Keep up the good work and remember to celebrate even the smallest of successes. (I even congratulate myself when I've maintained my weight - I figure that's better than it going back up.)
