The title asks it all... Well, any other tips on getting food value out of snacks is appreciated!

No, they cost about $5.50 or so. They can, however, serve as a meal!

A general rule of thumb is that snack credits can be used for items that cost under $4. Dole whip floats and other pricier snacks are a good use of the credits. Bottles of water and soda are not.

With the recent changes to the DDP, I don't know if it still qualifies, but 2 yrs ago, FIL got a turkey leg, bag of chips, a drink, and a dessert as a counter service credit.

Not sure about turkey legs--the look of them just gross me out-sorry, HOWEVER--At POR foodcourt --you could get 1 thing under $4 at the bakery for a snack credit. You could even get a brownie with a scoop of ice cream--YUM! They also had huge muffins, bagels, rice krispie treats, shakes, etc.. could use for your breakfast meal. I would think it would be the same at all resorts :mickey:
