I have noticed that there are lots of "roads" in the parks and resorts that aren't really roads - Main Street USA, Hollywood Blvd, Dinoland area, etc.
After a few days of being in the WDW world, one (especially a child) might not remember to look for traffic if actually crossing a real parking lot or road.
This happened to me once and it just made me stop and think for a second.
I don't want anyone to forget to look for cars.

Actually, that's a good point and I've caught myself doing that as well. It'd be especially bad if you were only spending part of your vacation at Disney and then heading back out into the "real" world for the rest of your trip. Any bets on how long until Disney gets sued by someone who got hit by a car....?!?

............

Are you kidding me?

First of all, there are cars on Main Street. And over at Hollywood Studios.

People don't move even when they are BLARING music and HONKING their horns.

I think it's safe to say that if someone gets hit by a car at their own place of residence, then they most likely ignored the warnings based on what I see at the parks.

I have to agree!
