June 20, 1929 – Disney’s Mickey Mouse short “Mickey’s Choo Choo” was released. It featured the singing debut of Mickey and the song “Minnie’s Yoo Hoo” (written by Carl Stalling and Walt Disney).
June 20, 1936 – Disney’s Mickey Mouse cartoons “Moving Day” and “Mickey’s Rival” were released.
June 20, 1941 – The Disney animated and live-action film “The Reluctant Dragon” debuted.
June 20, 1941 – Disney’s Mickey Mouse cartoon “The Nifty Nineties” was released.
June 20, 1944 – Original Mouseketeer Cheryl Holdridge, who appeared on “The Mickey Mouse Club” from 1956-1959, was born in New Orleans, La.
June 20, 1947 – Disney’s Donald Duck cartoon “Clown of the Jungle” was released.
June 20, 1952 – Actor John Goodman, the voice of James P. Sullivan in Disney’s 2001 “Monsters, Inc.” and the voice of Pacha in Disney’s 2000 “The Emperor’s New Groove,” was born in Affton, Missouri.
June 20, 1953 – Disney’s animated Goofy short “Father’s Weekend” was released.
June 20, 1971 – Actor Josh Lucas, who portrayed Coach Dan Haskins in the Walt Disney Pictures 2006 release “Glory Road,” was born in little Rock, Arkansas.
June 20, 1973 – The Disney film “One Little Indian” was released.
