Okay, I really hope this question doesn't sound crazy... but we got the DDP and we weren't charged any tax for it... our TA specifically stated there was no tax on the DDP. Yet, when I see people talking about what they paid at different restuarants on property, they always say that what they paid was "not including tax and gratuity".

I find it hard to believe that Disney wouldn't charge tax on the DDP if they were charging tax to folks who don't use it in the restaurants...

We're considering dropping the DDP, but if it's true that the restaurants charge tax, and we aren't getting taxed on the DDP, than I'll probably stick with it!

Thanks for any help/insight... :thanks:

We just returned and had the DDP, tax is charged but is included in the plan. the only exclusion is the appetizer and gratuity.

Hope this helps.
