Bestest Father's Day present ever!!!

I've been kinda bummed lately because we still have 180 days until we go to DW. Every day I check our countdown counter. Every day I read posts on Intercot by people that leave for DW in 6 days or something ridiculously soon. I just really need a vacation right now, and the waiting until December was killing me. So I get home from work yesterday, and DD4 hands me a card that she colored with "DADDY" on the front. I open the card, and it doesn't say anything? All that is in the card is a picture of the castle? I ask DW what's going on, and she tells me that my Father's day present is a suprise trip to DW!!! We leave in 6 days!!! We will be there from the 19th to the 23rd. For the first, and most surely, only time in my life I have 2 countdown timers running at the same time!!!!

Awesome. Congrats! I am jealous. I wish my DD would of handed me a card like that on Mother's Day. My husband doesn't like WDW, so I don't see that happening anytime soon.

FANTASTIC...what a great memory for you to cherish. I've shared several times about the year my DD turned 16. We had already planned a summer trip but we surprised her on the actually date in Nov. with a long weekend in the world.
