Repairs

How far in advance to they schedule these out? I will be there in Aug 10 - 16 and I am curious if there is a schedule of the rides that will be down or what not.

Any info will be appreciated!!!

1) It all depends.
2) Anywhere from 30-days to 1-year.
3) There are lots of factors
. . . rehab vs minor upkeep
. . . major renovations vs minor repairs
. . . amount of long-lead-time items to be ordered (eg. specialty steels, gears)
. . . annual scheduled maintenance
. . . emergency or urgent repairs
4) Look on the Disney website for known rehab schedules.

Rusty has given a good answer to this and I'm sure all the CMs can give better answers than I can. But, I can give you the prespective of a annual visitor.

First, I always check Info Central here (http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/calendar/refurb.asp). It will have the scheduled rehabs.

But as Rusty points out, they sometimes have emergency repairs. It seems that every time we are there something is down for a period of time. We don't let it disappoint us because there is so much to do in WDW.
