Sushi Bar at the Polynesian?

Is there a Sushi Bar at the Polynesian? I thought I read somewhere that there was one. If so, has anyone eaten there?

At least for a while, Kona Cafe will be adding Sushi to it's dinner menu.

UPDATE: Kona Island Sushi Bar will be open evenings and located at the coffee bar located between Kona Cafe and exit to the monorail.:mickey:

I just popped over to another website to get the info for you and, darn it, I forgot to get the opening date. I may pop back and edit this post with that info.

We just returned and we at the Poly 3 times. All 3 times we were there, there was a sign as we exited the monorail going into the lobby about the Sushi Bar being open. We did not try it, but it looked pretty cool.

Does anyone know if the sushi bar is part of a TS or is it somewhere we can pop in and order a few sushi rolls?

My DH is going to love this. One more reason for us to bite the bullet and splurg on a long awaited stay at the Poly!!

We are so excited about this! I read the menu and the crab cakes with the asian tartar sauce sound heavenly. Its a counter service walk up place next to Kona's. We will be hitting it up for lunch in August for sure!!

of course w CA Grill having the best sushi Ive had, and also Tokyo Dining or Kimonos, I dont know how it will compare
