if i purchase a 8 day pass and only use 5 days can i put a no expiation on the unused days if i do it before we leave?

Yes, the no expiration option can be added to your ticket at anytime to save the remaining three days.

You can actually add the no expiration option, BUT you will have to pay the difference for the 8 day hoppers, not just the difference for the three days you'll have left.
