October rooms?

Has anyone had trouble getting room reservations for OKW and SSR in October?

We're close to closing on a DVC resale for OKW and I'm a little concerned about availability. We're interested in a studio or 1BR at either resort.

We already have an offsite hotel booked, but would much rather stay at WDW. We're going Oct 19-24.

We just got a studio at SSR for Sept 30-Oct 4

I would call. OKW is our home resort - I cant really see a problem getting in there in Oct but I wouldnt wait

I had a problem last year when DVC cancelled some October days by mistake and then told me there was nothing available anywhere. Fortunately something came available. Your two resort choices should have the best chance of any.

We have never had a problem booking for Oct., but we usually book OKW 11 months out since that is our home resort.

We've never had a problem booking a studio at SSR in October.

If you book as soon as possible, you should be able to get into OKW or SSR. We joined in July last year and were able to book an OCt stay at OKW. All that was available was a 1 br, so we waitlisted a studio and it came through!

We just booked Saturday and OKW & SSR were both available for our stay Oct 24-Nov 3. We chose OKW as SSR is our home resort and are pretty much guaranteed to stay there. We also waitlisted at BCV & BWV on the off off chance something comes available.
