Canada
I grew up about 30 miles north of Detroit so we went over to Canada several times and you also get some Canadian TV stations there.

Japan - Ive been to the real one twice and by far its my "other" favorite country. Its so cool to walk thru the familiar items in the shops, garden, see the carps and see the beautiful pagoda! Now if they could just build a Mt Fuji in Epcot like Everest in AK..:cloud9:

It's got to be the U.K. It just always feels very homey and a place you could just sit for a while.

Second place would be Germany. There's it's the theming. I just get immersed in the feel of the area.

I lived in Switzerland just next to France. It should be the France pavillon. However, my favorite country is the Japon. It's very relaxing, and I love the shop here

The UK for us. We have British and Irish ancestry in our family and we like to spend time in the UK.

For us it's Germany. I'm mostly German (with a little Irish thrown in for good measure), so it's near and dear to my heart. I love the shops there.

DH loves sitting next to the fountain enjoying a beer.

China for sure.
My DD loves to get those juggling sticks and draw a crowd. She's a natural with them and people stop to watch her.
She's a gymnast so we like to make sure we always see the acrobat show in China too.
We love the whole vibe of China, its relaxed and feels like our Epcot home away from home!

My own?

Well, I'm not Canadian.
I'm not English.
I'm not French.
I'm not Mexican.
I'm not Chinese.
I'm not Italian.
I'm not Japanese.
I'm not Moroccan.
I'm definitely American.
I'm not German, but I am of German ancestry.
I'm not Norweigan, but my wife is of Scandinavian heritage, Danish to be exact.

So, other than American, I guess I'd have to pick Germany for myself and Norway for my wife based on our heritage.

For some reason I have always loved Mexico! I love the little boat ride you get to take inside (that is now the Three Caballeros... lol ) I love the smell of the food and the neat stands of things to buy. I really like it there!:mickey:

Japan.

I studied the language and culture for a long time and if I hadn't been so sick of school (student loans too) by the time I graduated college, I would have gone over to Kyoto for several years as an English teacher. (I kick myself now, but at the time it was the right decision.)-

I love walking into the pavillion and talking to the folks who work there. I've lost a lot of the language in the past 8 years, but I still have enough to make myself understood. The CMs get such a kick out of a gaijin (non-Japanese) speaking their langauge. :mickey:

Germany. I was born in Germany and lived there for a total of about 6 years spread over 2 different tours (my dad was Army) and I just love it! That's where the majority of our Disney World spending money goes. :secret:

I would have to say that it is Germany. I was an exchange student in High School, and it feels like I am back home when I visit there. I it is so much like the town I lived in. It is so much easier to visit this Germany here in EPCOT rather than the one in Europe.

I really don't care as long as I'm in Epcot:D. But if I had to choose, I'm kinda partial to France cause of the little back area by the pastry shop...YUM, and my DD is kinda into Norway cause of the "FV Northwestern" on Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch". But, as long as we can stroll around WS lagoon, and enjoy all of it's sights, smells, and wonderful foods, it's all good!!

First of all, I'd like to be the first one to welcome kirbmajik to Intercot.

:wave::welcome::wave:

Second, for the country I'd consider as my "home", it would have to be Norway. I just love the atmosphere and I love trolls. And I could spend a while just inside the stav church too.

Since I'm from Canada, Canada is my "home" at World Showcase, but my "other" home is the UK. I just love the stores, love the R&C, the whole set-up is just perfect...and it feels like the pubs at home, and we still have a fair bit of British influence in Canada.

France...I studied the language for several years and have traveled through France more than any of the other countries (except Canada). I even have a little French "sang" coursing through my veins. :-) I also think the pavilion is lovely and scenic.

I'm mostly Irish, so I can't pick the Brits. I have some German, but last century left a lot of ill will toward us. I do have scandanavian blood a few generations back, so I'll have to go Norway. Besides, I love the ride, the food, and the intoxicating smell of the gift shop (Geir cologne and perfume).

Germany!

All 4 of my great grandparents came over from Germany. The one set actually met on the boat ride over. So I'm pretty close to being 100% German. There is a very, very little bit of English, Irish and French thrown in. So considering my ancestry I have to go with Germany. I've actually been to Germany once and it was absolutely beautiful. It's the closest thing to being there.

By the way I love reading everyones stories about why they've picked each country.

France. I studied in France and traveled extensively thoughout France, and I always spend a lot of time there drinking wine, speaking French with the CMs, and reminiscing.

Oh, and how I love "Impessions de France!"

I always look to see if any CMs are from Caen (where I studied) but I have yet to ever see one.

Has to be Mexico for me. When I was younger my parents also staked out spots in Mexico to watch Illuminations for us. Brings back memories. Not that I am older I carry on that tradition with my DH.
