It's kind of a quickfire montage for me. I see Cindy's castle, then my sisters and I in front of it when we were teenagers and there by ourselves followed by the EWP in front of 'Ohana and then my DS at 18 mos, running as fast as he can, laughing, at Pooh's playful place. *sigh* It's like my own little WDW commercial.

You say WDW and I picture Main Street USA with The Castle at the end.... CMs with Balloons in the shape of Mickey, the Daper Dans midway down the street, people coming in and out of stores and little girls and boys with wide eyes and big smiles holding the hands of Mommies and Daddies with even wider eyes and bigger smiles.

It may seem silly but I always think of It's A Small World. Yes the ride may be dated and it seems like an easy target these days, but it is something that is uniquely Disney.

Its always the MK and normally a picture of the Castle :cloud9: This leads to images of different rides and experiences like Its a Small World (#1), Peter Pan, the Tea Cups, POTC, and BTMRR with my family on them at different times/ages, etc. I think its more that feeling of happiness, excitement and contentment that comes with the images for me rather than the images themselves but the castle is always just waiting to pop into my head!

SpectroMagic, Dole Whip Floats and Caseys Mini Corn Dogs! That right there, esp done together is pure magic for me! ;)

All joking aside, it really has always been the parade. Either Main Street Electrical Parade or SpectroMagic.

I have to say that it is the Monorail and it going though the Contemporary. the welcome sign at the start of the trip. Then all four icons at the parks, SE, the castle, sorcerer hat, and tree of life. For me I can not think of WDW with these things.

Theres no one thing its more like a lightening fast montage of the castle, my family, Buzz Lightyear, Mickey, the monorail, OKW, the feeling of love, happiness & everything RIGHT, GOOD & PURE in the World, mickey head ice cream, JIYI, HM, Spaceship Earth, Cinderella, Tusker House, getting engaged, sitting in Frontierland at one of the checkerboards playing and eating a huge rice krispy treat with my DD,Wishes etc..:cloud9:

kind of the like a good version of someones life flashing before their eyes. :mickey:

I think of the excitement of approaching your first park after you have checked in to your resort. For us, it's MK, but I would be super excited knowing I was going to any of the parks. It's that excitement that makes you talk funny and you can't stop smiling and you're all giddy and you can't get there fast enough. And then you get there and it's like "aaaaaahhhhhh" and everything is awesome and you start having a great time!

Of course as many have said Main Street and The Castle. But I also think of the approach to the MK entrance from the bus drop off! I think of the Hippy Dippy pool at Pop! Of riding the monorail , my fav is the MK loop! Being with my DH & my 2 DS's and acting so silly, we're down right Goofy at WDW, this year we were all doing these funny "walks" one night in MK! I know we're there when we drive under that WDW sign - gosh I love that part! This is more of a generality but when I think of WDW I think of my family and how much we enjoy visiting this place and how special it is in all of our hearts. All of my fondest memories of my childhood are with my family in the World. Although my family and I are now older we still visit the World whenever we get a chance and i cherish it more and more each time we do. Those that have never been here don't realize the sentimental value that WDW holds for all of us. It really is the most magical place in the world. I look forward to my next trip to the World and can only imagine the joy and happiness that it will bring to me.
