POTC is always first when we go in MK

POTC has become something of a tradition for us. We usually arrive late afternoon and go over about 6:00pm and do this ride first. A great way to get into the mood.:mickey:

Sometimes we start with Space Mt. but we usually start on the left side of the MK with POTC and then work our way around. I voted for POTC since we usually start there.

We have little ones, so we always do Dumbo first. The line is too long later in the day!

Normally my DH and I would do the Haunted Mansion first. Now that we have little ones we do what ever ride works first for them. On our little ones very first trip we did buzz lightyears space ranger spin and my DD Loved it. My DS was only 7 ½ weeks old so he slept through the whole ride, but it is a first ride moment we will never forget.

During our first trip last August 2007 our very first ride was snow white. We have young children so we hit fantasyland first, then toontown.

If the park is open early for EMH we go to Space Mountain first. If the park opens at 9:00 then we go and get a fast pass for Splash Mountain and ride Big Thunder first

POTC is the :number1: ride. Followed by HM. Last yr HM was closed for refurbishment and it was so :( not to be able to ride. Can't wait til Dec and ride it after the refurb. It might be the 1st ride this yr.

I have made it my tradition for the last three trips to ride the railroad all the way around the park and then make my way down Main Street and into the park. It's sort of a nice overview of the things you have to look forward to. :-)

My DD’s always want to ride the tea cups first. You can always tell when we are riding, because we are the fastest spinning cup out there. I guess my kids like to start the day off dizzy!:mickey:

I voted for POTC, but i just realized that the Railroad is usually how I get over to that side of the park. I ride the railroad, pick up a FP for either Splash or Big Thunder, then head to POTC.

I'm really surprised that the mountains have so few votes, considering how packed they get by midday. I'm a mountaineer. i go for Thunder after getting a FP for Splash.

I answered other because my movements are just not that predictable.

Where I go, and what I do when I first enter the Magic Kingdom is just never the same.

I don't even necessarily go the same direction, sometimes I might turn right towards Space Mountain or the Monster's Inc Laugh Floor, sometimes I might turn left towards Pirates of the Caribbean, or I might go through Cinderella's Castle towards It's a Small World. Or, I might just find a bench on Main Street USA to just sit and soak it in for a moment.

Ithink half the fun is just seeing how the day unfolds.

usually thunder mountain since splash has a big line usually, hit up all the rides around that area, go through liberty square/fantasyland then end with the tomorrowland area

We usually go in and head to Adventureland. Normally grab a fastpass to JC and then go to POTC. If we still have time before FP then we jump on Magic carpet ride for DD (3) then do JC.

We always go to Adventureland first- usually get a FP for jungle cruise and ride POTC but if the jungle cruise line is really short we do that first.

With a toddler we head straight to Fantasyland and do Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and Dumbo first. Then we tend to do Snow White, SmallWorld shortly following.

most of the time we take a relaxing ride on the railroad over to frontierland where we ride on Splash, Big Thunder then stroll over to Pirates. Depending upon the time we arrive this is a great location for a turkey leg

well i had to vote other on this 1 ,because the first thing that me and dw do as we walk down Main Street and walk through the castle (which by the way never gets old), is hook a right and head into Mickeys Philarmagic, then from there it's skys the limit

I'm sure from now on it will be It's a Small World. We took our DD (2) last December and she wanted to ride it again and again. She still remembers the "baby dolls" and the "boat ride".

I went with Splash Mountain because it has been the first ride on our past couple of trips. It just depends which was we decide to start going through the park on that trip. Sometimes we start with Space Mountain.

We used to do the Jungle Cruise but now we do Peter Pan or something in that area, not typically IASW because that line usually moves fairly quickly. We try to get the Fantasyland rides with the really long lines over with first thing so we do not waste tons of time later on.

POTC seems to be the leader. I blame that on all the guide books that say turn left first because most people go right automatically. Maybe I'll pick a new first ride.

Wow, I almost don't even want to tell my fellow intercotees since they all seem to head for Pirates 1st. I tend to ride Peter Pan's Flight, twice and then the rest of Fantasyland's attractions 1st because there is NEVER anyone in that part of the park 1st thing in the a.m.

This is us. So I voted other. We do Dumbo first so we don't have to do it later when the wait is close to an hour. It doesn't matter what time of year it is this line has to be one of the longest, & hottest lines to wait in. It never seems to move.

Before kids it would be Thunder mountain.
