The fate of my trip is up to you! Which park do you usually do first? We leave in 4 days. Help!

We always do MK first - it's the most magical and the one that makes us most feel like we are away from the real world. It's always our last, too.

We do MK first bc its the original and we have to let Mickey know we are there.

We usually do MK first. It's like that starts off our trip. I've gone before and done other parks first, but it didn't seem right. In my opinion, it's just a way to make our trip 'official' by going to the MK first! :mickey:

My vote is for Magic Kingdom. Last time we went to DHS first since my DD was finally tall enough to ride ToT. It was a fun day, but it didn't feel like I was really in the World until the next day when I rode the monorail and saw the castle.

We usually do Epcot first because we arrive on a weekend. We go to Magic Kingdom on the Monday after arrival. Since Epcot is so big we don't notice the weekend crowds as much.:)

MK is the first place we go every trip -- and the last place before we leave. It only seems fitting that way. While the other parks each have their own unique atmosphere, there is nowhere else in the world like MK! :cloud9:

We've went to DHS and MK on our two trips. We do based on hours and what we want to get done.

We always stay at the Poly so this is the easiest to get to. And we arrive late in the afternoon, usually, so this is a great way to start the trip.

As far back as I can remember, I'm pretty sure I've started and ended every trip in the MK. It's my favorite of all the parks.

Animal kingdom...because we can pretty much do the stuff we want in less than half a day and be finished up by early afternoon, this lets us sneak in a dip in the pool or even a quick a nap before tromping on to a late niight (til closing )at one of the other three parks.

The first sighting, from the Monorail, or from a resort launch, of the Magic Kingdom remains as intense as our first visit, over 30 years ago. And the first walk up Main Street....well, you guys know....that's why you do it too.

Here's a challange, to better our world and your life....remember how you feel walking down Main Street with your family....feel that way about them away from WDW, and see how rewarding it can be....Imagine how full your life can be at special moments, like when you, DW, your kids, and grandkids are on a community theatre stage, celebrating closing night, and being part of DS#2's proposal.....or being together for the wedding....or sharing babysitting for DGS #4 with DS # 1 and family while DS # 2 and DDiL #2 rehearse for another play.....Yeah, such a life can be rewarding....Seems to me in the right light at the Partners statue, you can see Walt wink...check it out for yourself!

We always start at the MK. It has been this way since I was little and there was only the MK. Now with my boys we do the same and we start at the MK.

Oh, this is a hard one . It changes from year to year. The emh for the morning sometimes is a deciding factor then sometimes it's whatever bus arrives at the bus stop first.

We do MK first and last. It's my favorite and I just can't make DD wait to go to MK later on in the trip. We always end with MK too, seems to make the magic memories last longer.

We ALWAYS do MK first! You know you're at Disney when you walk down Main Street USA and see the castle. Brings a tear to my eye everytime!

Its always MK for us - I don't believe that I'm truly in Disney until I see the castle and walk down Main Street :cloud9:

MK is a must. We do it first and last. We're so anxious to go on our favorites that we can't wait even one extra day.
That said, if we went more often, we'd probably change it up. But with 1.5-2.5 years between our trips, it's gotta be MK!

We always have to go and get Hayden's haircut on the first day at the Harmony barber shop. :mickey:

We always start and end our trips with the MK. :cloud9: I get so excited as we begin to approach on either the monorail or resort launch that I know my DH always thinks, "What did I get myself into!" :mickey:

I like to begin and end our trip by visiting the MK. There is just somethign magical about walking down Main Street towards the castle and it is very sad to leave the MK at closing after Wishes.

Not to sound like Epcot is bad, but since i'm usually traveling with first time visitors, I don't want them to have MK first. I'm afraid they will have higher expectations of other park. So, I always schedule Epcot first (I LOVE epcot, btw). Mk is the next day followed by AK, then MK, then DS, then MK again. It changes according to hours and hopper option thoughl.

We always use to do MK first but the last couple of trips we have gone to Epcot. The kids love soarin' and TT so we go there first. However, we always will end up with MK to finish off the magic.

Our park is planned out long before we get there. We try to go with the park not having EMH and the least busy park that day on some schedule we have to dig up on the internet every trip. We want to go to all of the parks, so it doesn't matter so much which one we start with. If the one we choose for that day happens to be too busy, we just hop to another one.

we always do MK first. we did Epcot first on our last trip and it didn't feel like we were in disney. MK just kicks it off for us.

Well I can see by the poll that we are out of the norm but we do DHS the first day. We like to ease into the magic. We love MK but we feel like if we do it first then everywhere elses "Magic" is a let down so we usually do it the 3rd or 4th day - and then the last day if we are there more than 5/6 days. Besides we like to torture ourselves with the built up anticipation. LOL

Epcot is our favorite park though. If I had a choice of which park to go to twice - itd be that one

Magic Kingdom first, Magic Kingdom last. Usually somewhere in the middle, we do one full day and one or two half days at MK! You can probably tell MK is my favorite! :mickey:

Usually I do The Studios first because I don't need a full day there. We get there in the early afternoon and stay to watch Fantasmic.

All things being equal, we would do Magic Kingdom first...and if it is your first visit to WDW, then you really should go to MK on the first day in time to see the opening ceremonies. But...if you've been to WDW before, then I would look for whichever parks have the extended Magic Hours.

It is always MK for me. I will be there on 8/3. I will not get down to the hotel until 6:30-7p but MK is open til 11pm with EMH that night as well so it will be like getting in a half day at MK even arriving late in the day. While the days are hot there that time of the year, there is nothing like a summer evening in WDW!

Traditionally, MK. But on our last trip, we got tired of waiting for the MK bus, and went to Epcot instead. It was the nicest day. We had so much fun just doing whatever we wanted, no plans, no schedule. 'Course, I'm too AR to repeat that.

Always start and end with a day at the MK. We're not "officialy" in Disney till we've walked down Mainstreet USA! Plus it's our favorite and just seems the most magical! :mickey:
