There are 12,213 parking spaces in the MK parking lot. By 10:00 am Christmas morning, WDW's busiest day of the year, they are filled.

Yep, I've seen that while on the monorail form MK to Epcot.

I don't remember where or when I saw it but I remember a statistic that said each car in the Magic Kingdom parking lot averaged having 4 people per car in it. If that is correct than by 10 am on Christmas there are already over 48,000 people in the park just from what came in cars! Can you only imagine how many people are in the park all together when you add those brought in my Disney bus, boat, and monorail? It makes you quickly understand why the gates to the park get closed early on a day like that!
