I am getting ready to go down to Disney, but when I am there I need to access the internet for a short time and I do not have a laptop. Does Pop Century have an area that will allow someone without a laptop to access the internet i.e. business office of some sort? If not at Pop, does anyone know of a place like that at Disney?

....not sure about the rest of WDW...but as far as I recall...there was no "public computer" at POP when I was there back in November.
No, PC doesn't have a business center. If you just need to check in for your airline return, you can do that at the front desk or Guest Services in any of the parks.
CSR, YC/BC, GF and I think CR all have a business center where you can rent computer time.

Not to hijack the thread, but is there a way to plug in a laptop at POP? I know wi-fi isn't available, but I wondered if there's any access at all?

All of the Disney resorts have internet access...they even have the telephone connection to make if required. It's $9.99 a day...so use wisely.

All WDW rooms have high speed Internet access, and the Ethernet cable is provided. It does cost $10/day.
If you have an 800 number to access your work network- bring a telephone cable for dial up and there is no charge.
I agree with an earlier poster in that Pop does not have a business center with computers to use. Boardwalk and Grand Floridian, and most probably the Swan/Dolphin have business centers. I am not sure if you have to be a resort guest to use them- but I would ask ahead of time. Some of the other deluxe resorts, and maybe even the Coronado may have them also.
If you plan to bring your laptop and use dial-up (I'm cheap and just need it briefly, so that's what I do!), be sure to bring a line connector and an additional line. Otherwise, you'll be stuck with your laptop on the back of the nightstand trying to type.
You also might want to brint either an extension cord or a surge protector if your battery won't accommodate the length of your session. The electrical outlets are not always where you would prefer!

The resorts with business centers (CSR, GF, YC/BC, BW, CR) will allow you to go in and use their internet, I do not believe you need to be a resort guest as not all convention attendees will be staying on site.
HOWEVER in January the fee was either $15 for 10 minutes, or $10 for 15 minutes. It was pricey to say the least! You pay AFTER you go online, and you pay per sheet if you need anything printed out. If you are a resort guest you can charge it to your room.

and most probably the Swan/Dolphin have business centers.
