If I order a birthday cake will they deliver it to your room, or only to a restaurant?

I ordered a cake and had it delivered to the room when DH and I stayed at Coronoado. i called room service before we got down there and set it all up. The cake was awesome. i work at a casino and the cakes we have aren't very good and expensive so for the price i was expecting a very small cake, but it wasn't. It was more than the two of us could eat and it had great fresh fruit on it. Much more than i expected and the CM i spoke to was great even when i called that day and changed the time since out plans changed. Just give a call to room service and see what kind of cakes they have, i know wilderness had different options. Enjoy.:eat:

The above poster is exactly right. Contact room service at your resort before you leave for the trip and order a birthday cake. Call the dining line or the Disney main switchboard at least two days before you want the delivery and explain the situation. It is an easy and painless process, and the cakes are large and delicious.

How cool! I wonder if I could do this with an anniversary cake?

I'm sure you could order an anniversary cake the same way.

I know I have seen some in the food court at the resort at POP refridgerator being already made to be sold if needed. Maybe they have them at the resort you are going to stay at. Give them a call to find out they can help you with that question.

They will try to accomodate your request within reason. I will tell that the cake we ordered was the small one for a party of 12 and we still had cake left over. It was probably the best tasting cake I've ever had.
