Hurray! Story to be on a website!

I wrote a story that's going to be "published" on the University of Michigan Cancer Center website!

I took a free memoir writing class at our local library, and wrote this story to be read in that class. After I read it, the others in the class encouraged me to submit it to U-M, since it's about driving through the parking garage at the hospital/medical center. I poked around on their website, found someone to e-mail it to, and they love it!

They're coming to my house tomorrow to take pictures of me. ARG! I've got to clean!

A writer and photographer for the magazine that the U-M Cancer Center sends to their current and former patients just left my house. They're going to publish my story, as well as a story about me, in their July magazine!

As soon as I find out when it's on the website, I'll post it here!
