They could call it

"HSM 4: The Return of Sharpay"
or
"HSM 4: Gabriella's Pride"
or
"HSM 4: Journey to a New School"
or
"HSM 4: Zero to Homecoming Hero"

Figure HSM4 will begin focusing on new characters. HSM is a very popular franchise so expect that it will be around, with new editions, for many years to come.

I have to admit, I do have an obsession for the HSM series, but a fourth one? It just seems like it will decline.
High School Musical 3 is supposed to center around their senior year--prom, possibly graduation. So what would they center on in the fourth? College years? If that's the case then they might as well change the title of the movie to College Musical. :confused:
In my opinion, Disney should stop at number three and then drop it.


EDIT: Ah, so I just looked more into HSM4. Apparently, it most likely won't have the whole cast regroup on the movie in the works. They might introduce new characters--it is possible that a couple of kids from the gang will return.
See, the new characters would be introduced in High School Musical: Senior Year. Then they would follow up into the fourth. It seems like a waste of money and time to make such a project, but oh well. ;)

HSM 4 really?
It will probably surround new characters like new sophomores or something like that. HSM 3 is about senior year and preparing for college and graduating from high school. After the HSM 3 it should be done because 3 movies is enough of High School Musical. 4 or 5 is way too much.

You do realize the more money that Disney is able to milk out of a cash cow like the HSM franchise, the more money they will have to take a risk on a new project that you do like.

Ah!! this movie is really not that good to make a 4th! I can see it now: High School Musical 4: Nursing Home. haha
This is going to be like that dinosaur movie with Little Foot, 'Land Before Time'..i think that has around 16 sequels!
