Just closed on my house! And I was able to talk the buyers into taking a $4,800 discount off the price so that I can live in the house for the next 4 months while my new house is being built. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

I put it on the market on Feb 5 (during the slowest time of the year).

I closed on May 2.

During that time, there was a two week period in which the buyer could not get the financing she wanted so we parted ways.

I was in no hurry to sell, since my new house is being built.
