Wife just got an email from Disney with some great rates. Booked a 9 day trip with 7 day passes, dining plan and tickets to MVMCP. I have 2 free SWA passes, so the total for the trip is only $1600.00!!!

A trip report is definitely in the cards!

We were not planning on going back until December of 2009, but at $55 a night, I will gladly stay at Pop Century. I don't know if the economy is that bad, but this is definitely cheaper than I had expected.

We are going the week of December 6th-14th. From what I read, this might be the best week of the year to go, (smaller crowds, holiday decorations). We booked tickets for DVMCP on December 11th. Now I just have to wait to book dining reservations.

Pop Century is a great resort!! We were there in '06 and loved it. I must warn that the beds are a bit small (especially when sharing it with my overactive DD6 sleeper!)!!

I would love to go in December. We are looking at possibly going in Sept to take advantage of free dining. However, trip after this one is going to be a holiday trip. There is no better time in the parks than for the holidays!!
