I am trying to determine if it's worth it to try and make early a.m. breakfast ressies at the AK for the Restaurantasaurus before the park opens. The website says they serve breakfast 8:00am and I LOVE the idea I've seen on these boards about eating early and being in the park to do EE before everyone arrives. Has anyone done this? I hope I posted this on the right spot - wasn't sure if it belonged here or under Dining. Thanks everyone!!

You should def.do it. We did it last year and it was great. You get to go on the rides while the parks are somewhat empty since your one of the first there. Plus you get to see the park while its nice and quiet before the crowds pile in. I totally vote for early ADR's.

Yes this is a good idea. We did it in 06 and got to ride Expedition Everest 3 times before there was any wait longer than 5 minutes. :waycool:

However, Donald's Breakfast is no longer at Restaurantosaurus. It has been moved to Tusker House and is called "Donald's Safari Breakfast".

This is also our favorite Character breakfast because you get visits from the "Big 4" classic original Disney characters, Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto all at the same meal. :mickey2: :donald: :goofy2: :pluto:

We too done this last yr and it was the best.
They escorted from the right side of the park along the back across the bridge to the front entrance of EE. We were the very 1st ones on the ride. We rode like twice then grabbed a fp and went on the ride some other things. It was so, neat walking to EE before the parks become overwhelmingly busy.

Donald's Breakfastasaurus is no more :( It has been moved to Tusker House as others have stated. It will no longer give you any advantage for getting over to EE but you are right near the safari

we had virtually the same experience....you should definatley try it....the food is good and being in the park prior to opening and being able to open up a ride is awesome...:mickey:

We have done this and I am not a rider of EE but when the rest of my group were the first on to ride I was the designated FP retriever...By the way the breakfast was great...

I'm not sure why they moved Donald's Breakfast to the Tusker House. It's the same food and about the same table space. It's closer to the Safari. Maybe they're trying to tie in the breakfast. It must not have been doing so well on the other end of the park.

We did this and it was very interesting while we were there. 9AM is not the same at the front of the park as it is at the back of the park. When we were there, we got FP's at 9:15 with a return time of 9:45. No big deal. However, standby at 9:15AM was already 45 minutes and we were inside the park. The front of the park let in before they let us in from Tusker House.
