How early for Fastpass?

We've got an early breakfast at Tusker House, at 8:15am. Are the Fastpass machines working before the park opens? We were hoping to run over to Everest before breakfast and grab some Fastpasses.

I don't think they will be open before the park opens.

When entering the park for an ADR before park opening you will be escorted directly to the restaurant by a CM. You will not be allowed to roam around the park until official opening time. The good news is, a CM will escort you to EE after breakfast so you can be there at opening and ride it well ahead of the crowds coming in from the gate. We did this last visit and were able to ride EE three times before we even needed a fast pass; the wait was less than 5 minutes.

I totally agree with the above........we did the same and actually were the first riders of the day for EE...it felt great being taken directly there and how desolate the place was.....kinda made it more "creepy" "mysterious"....but you could see the main crowd coming around the sidewalks......:thumbsup:
